The Andy Long Orchestra's FAQ
1. How much space do you need?
We always do our best to be flexible, but we generally need about 5 metres by 4 metres. We can play in a smaller area if we have some of our players standing.
2. How long do you play for?
Usually we play 2 x 1 hour sets with a break in between. However we will always tailor the set lengths to suit your requirements.
3. Do you take requests?
The quick answer is yes we do, given enough notice. Andy will write a bespoke version of your favourite song if we don't already have it. Just request it in advance in plenty of time.
4. How loud are you?
We can play entirely acoustically if you prefer, so that means that your guests will find it easy to chat with each other. Alternatively, we can be amplified to suit a larger venue. The choice is yours!
5. Does Andy compere if required?
Yes - very definitely! He's very experienced at talking to an audience and he has an easy-going, personable style of presentation.
