The band’s usual performance times are between 8pm-midnight, with a 45 minute break. These times can be changed upon request. Surcharges may apply. The band will need 1 hour to load in, set up, and sound check before the performance.

Yes we can! Have a look at the Add-on section on our profile to see videos, descriptions and pricing. Our Add-ons can be added to the build-a-quote section which will automatically update the price, including any extra travel cost incurred.

Yes we do! The band can play up to 5 ceilidh tunes. These are the Gay Gordons, Strip The Willow, Dashing White Sergeant, Military Two Step, and the Saint Bernard’s Waltz. 
These can either be performed together in one section, or spread throughout the night to give your guests time to rest! Don't worry if any of your guests don't know the dances as we also have an expert ceilidh caller to talk everyone through the moves. 

Our standard performance time is 3 hours 15 minutes, with a 45 minute break. 
The break usually coincides with the evening buffet but can be organised to suit your event. 

We will learn one song request (usually your first dance), however due to the time it takes for the band to learn any request to a professional standard we cannot take more than one request per client.  Our setlist has been carefully curated over several years to make sure your event has a good flow and the music keeps your dance floor full.

Yes, The band is based in Glasgow but regularly performs throughout the UK.

We’d love to. Let us know what song you’d like at least 30 days before your event and we’ll perform your chosen song live. Giving us this much notice allows us to add your song to our rehearsal schedule.

Yes we are. All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT. Our VAT registration number is 454 0468 95.

We have performed with a sound limiter on several occasions with minimal effect. However, you should check with your venue to see what level their sound limiter is set to. If it has a limit of 85db or below it will have a detrimental effect on any live band’s performance.

Cassien provide all the sound and lighting equipment you need for most weddings and events as standard. If your venue is exceptionally large or you are looking for a particular style of lighting, then you may need a sound & lighting package designed specifically for your event. 

If 3.5 hours of live music isn’t enough for you, our Singer/Saxophonist and Drummer/DJ can provide an hour long set to keep the party going in to the wee hours. 
To book the DJ & Sax Power Hour just add it using the Add-on section when building your quote.

Yes, we can run any playlist through our sound system. If you’d like to make your own playlist we can accommodate that or we can have a playlist ready to go.

It takes the 5 piece band 1 hour to load in, set-up, and soundcheck. If you have added on the 3 piece Brass Section, we need an extra 15 minutes, so 1 hour 15 minutes in total. It is important that they have a clear space to do so or setting up will take longer. 

If your venue is over a certain distance from the bands home location, your booking will incur a layover fee, and you will be told of your responsibilities with regards to arranging overnight accomodation. 
If you have booked the 5 piece band we will need 2 twin rooms and 1 single/double room.
If you have added the 3 piece Horn Section we will require an extra 1 twin room and 1 single/double room.
