" Kezia Dugdale (Jungle celebrity/journalist ) and Jenny Gilruth (MSP) Folks, Just a wee note to say in all honesty, we had an absolute ball on Saturday and it was almost entirely down to you guys! You were just superb. Brilliant set, read the room perfectly. Got everyone going with the ceilidh and you were all so easy to work with and so drama free and kind to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts - we just loved it! Our band, Hup, absolutely made our wedding day. They were sensational. So talented. Brilliant musicians who read the room really well and kept everyone up dancing. Lovely combo of covers and ceilidh. Everyone had a ball. " We were fortunate to meet Kin at a wedding fair, and from that moment, we knew they were the perfect choice for our celebration. The band immediately impressed us with their incredible talent, warm personalities, and friendly approach. Not only did they play traditional music beautifully, but they also offered Ceilidh dancing and could adapt modern music to a trad style, creating the exact atmosphere we envisioned. Their flexibility was amazing—they even offered to learn our first dance song, making it feel incredibly personal and special. Coordinating with the venue was seamless, with Kin setting up quickly and unobtrusively. From the start of the night to the very last song, they kept the energy high, blending traditional music with Ceilidh sets that got everyone on their feet. They patiently guided our guests through each dance step, making it easy for everyone to join in, regardless of experience. The sound quality was fantastic, and their stage setup added a wonderful ambiance to the venue. Their professionalism and clear experience as wedding performers shone through as they perfectly balanced lively tunes and gentler moments, reading the room with ease. Guests couldn’t stop raving the next day about how much they loved the band. For anyone wanting a dynamic, friendly, and skilled band that brings warmth and high energy to a wedding, we genuinely couldn’t recommend Kin enough. They added so much to our day and left us with unforgettable memories. Lorna and Rab x "
